Indigenous support

Argyle Diamonds, a member of the Rio Tinto Diamonds product group, aims to build a healthier, wealthier and stronger East Kimberley region that has a sustainable economy and communities well beyond the life of the mine.

To achieve this Argyle works in  partnership with businesses and organisations to develop their capacity to drive change over time.

Argyle Diamonds follows a policy of localisation, employing East Kimberley residents and purchasing goods and services locally wherever possible, to create immediate economic benefits for the region and longer-term investment in the workforce.

Community activities and projects supported are designed to make towns better places to live, build community leadership, support local cultural events and improve education and health in the region.
