Culture

CultureRio Tinto is a proud supporter of local culture in Western Australia.

Supporting cultural projects is a valuable way to help build the social fabric of our community, particularly in remote areas, where opportunities for social events and cultural experiences may be limited.

A strong local culture creates pride in small communities, enables people to develop new skills and have new experiences.

We focus our support in this area on Indigenous arts, regional tours and skills and business development in the arts. We also support sport programmes and initiatives that aim to strengthen local communities.
